My paintings are unique. Many summers spent on the Maine coast have provided me with an insight to the variety in the seasons near the shore. My landscapes impress in us the beauty of the Berkshires and the reality of the coastline. I capture the immediacy of life in the crashing of ocean waves along a rocky coast, and instills in us a longing to step into a world where weather patterns effect every aspect of life.

    Conversely, my winter residence in Tequesta, Florida, gives me the opportunity to expand my horizons, and delve into the more tranquil world of still life. The abstract views that are simmering just below the surface in the landscapes come to full bloom with my rendering of the world of botanicals. My florals leap from the watercolor paper and immerse us in a boundless array of color. My wonderful sense of color makes each painting uniquely different from another, sending the viewer into a vast garden of shape, form, and design.
